Sally Runions

Sally Runions is an improviser, actor, and writer. She’s been part of the Penny Arcade cast since 2023, helping bring the watch-and-play improv show to kids ages 4-8 and their families, under the direction of Erica Larson and Beth Geatches. Since 2023, she’s been in various other improv shows as well as short plays and sketches around Pittsburgh. Before that, she performed in Colorado in community theater productions of Leading Ladies, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, and Sherwood. Her education meandered from mechanical engineering to technical writing to writing popular fiction at Colorado State University and Seton Hill University. When not doing theatrical things, she can be found inhaling books across many genres (but mostly fantasy and romance), cuddling with her pets (but mostly her cat Mia), and finding new ways of pestering her spouse (but mostly causing him to fall ever more sickeningly in love with her, mwahaha).
