What happens when a PhD in Reproductive Biology swaps the high-stakes world of laboratory research for the even higher stakes of a 7th-grade science classroom? You get Overqualified, a high-energy, brilliantly observational comedy special from Kadeem Richardson, PhD.
In this one-of-a-kind show, Kadeem takes audiences on a hilarious journey from the lab to the lunchroom, proving that no amount of advanced research can prepare you for the unfiltered chaos of middle schoolers or the absurdity of modern parenting. Whether he’s dissecting the “logic” of a 13-year-old or navigating life as a scientist-turned-educator, Kadeem’s sharp wit and relatable storytelling offer a masterclass in finding humor in the most unexpected places.
A rising star in the comedy scene known for his viral clips and infectious energy, Kadeem Richardson (better known to his students and followers as @KadeemGotJokes) delivers a performance that is as smart as it is side-splitting. Whether you’re an educator on the front lines, a parent in the trenches, or just someone who enjoys world-class stand-up, Overqualified is the “required reading” you’ll actually enjoy.
Join us for a night of laughter that proves education is a lifelong journey—and most of it is hilarious.
