Arcade’s 7th Anniversary

Arcade Comedy Theater, the city’s only non-profit theater dedicated to the art of comedy, is celebrating its seventh anniversary with a weekend of shows highlighting our hilariously talented community. As always, this weekend is filled with variety: improv, stand-up, sketch, and even some drag.

Friday, Feb 14 at 8pm

After Werk: Schwa’s Drag Cabaret

Arcade’s resident drag queen, Schwa de Vivre, returns for her first show of the new year. This cabaret-style comedy show features singing, dancing, lip syncing, audience games, and surprise guests.

Mini Dungeon

The Arcade improv program’s very own “max team” Mini Dungeon headlines with a signature improv comedy set filled with wit, whimsy, and character. They’re joined by one of the theater’s student improv teams, Breakout!

Anniversary Stand-Up Showcase

Head upstairs to our second floor theater for a classic stand-up comedy show with headliner Sean Collier, and featuring Ian McIntosh, Dr. Nancy Berk, and hosted by Jason Clark.

Saturday, Feb 15 at 8pm

Nolen & Nolen

Join two of the Arcade’s co-founders, Jethro and Kristy Nolen, for a night of unparalleled improvised comedy. The duo, known for their award-winning monthly show “Dinner with the Nolens” headline along with a featured set by the indie team Well Known Strangers.

Drinking Partners

Arcade presents the popular monthly stand-up show, hosted by Ed Bailey and Day Bracey — the hosts of the Drinking Partners podcast and local beer festival FreshFest. Catch a trio of great regional comics along with free beer samples.

Anniversary Sketch Night!

We’re closing out our anniversary weekend with a madcap, surprise-filled sketch show. Featuring dual-headlining sets by local troupes Cousins and The Oneders, plus an appearance by the Arcade Show Choir. All hosted by Jerome Fitzgerald.
