Brand new comedy showcases

Arcade Comedy Theater is celebrating Women’s History Month with its mission statement in mind: inspiring joy and nurturing community-building by connecting artists and audiences with the dynamic artform of comedy. Starting March 11 and spanning the entire month, Arcade will be highlighting female and female-aligned producers and artists in stand-up comedy, improv, and variety shows.

Meet the producers:
Arcade Comedy Theater’s Celebration of Women in Comedy shows are co-produced alongside local artists Mary Quick, Jocelyn Hillen, Liz Labacz, Abby Fudor, Robin Hitchcock, Alexa Schwartz, Annie Harder, Mindy McHale, Beth Geatches, Sarah Morgan, Kayleigh Dumas, Shaun McCarthy, Katie Tarara, Sarah Wojdylak, and Nia Johnson.

PERFORMANCE INFORMATION

  • All guests required to provide proof of full vaccination and wear a mask while in the building. Learn more
  • Tickets for each show are $15 per person, $10 student rush with valid ID
  • Shows appropriate for ages 18 & up
  • All shows BYOB for guests 21+
  • Runtime approx 75 minutes per show

B!tch, Please

March 11 at 8:00PM

B!tch, please is a celebration of ladies throughout history behaving badly and changing the world. Join us as we take a deep dive into history’s best b!tches with improv and stand-up! Featuring a cast of Pittsburgh’s best comedy queens and exciting up and comers, we’ll explore the qualities it takes to get crowned with the b word.

Frankly Scarlett: All Made Up

Frankly Scarlett (Abby Fudor, Robin Hitchcock, and Liz Labacz) are celebrating 10 years as a comedy trio with a fun and interactive night of improv! Check out this mix of short-form games and long-form scenes, featuring the cast of Frankly Scarlett alongside special guests from around Pittsburgh.

Brazen & Black

March 18 at 8:00PM

A Celebration of Black Female Infused Comedy at 8pm – Shaun McCarthy presents a special night of stand-up comedy featuring some of the funniest women and femmes that Pittsburgh has to offer. Featuring Eye Holla (Cleveland), Bekki Shell and Christina McNeese

The Sleepover Comedy Show

March 19 at 8:00PM

You’re invited to a Slumber Party! Join Sleepover for an interactive show hosted by the trio, featuring funny women of Pittsburgh for short-form and long form improv, and stand-up from The Captain herself, Gab Bonesso. Bring your own sleeping bag!

Lads & Ladies of the Night

Join Kayleigh Dumas and friends for some late-night reverie. Featuring some of the funniest and most raucous comics in Pittsburgh.

Nebby Neighbors

March 26 at 8:00PM

Peek over the fence and listen through the hedges, it’s time to join the borough of Nebby Neighbors to celebrate their 1st birthday! This variety show is filled with improv, sketch, standup, and music inspired by the social media app NextDoor and Pittsburgh’s nebbiest neighbors.

Glorious Messes: Real Women's History

March 26 at 8:00PM

Women are socialized to be “delicate creatures”, ashamed and removed from normal bodily functions, but it happens to everyone. Join Katie Tarara, Sarah Wojdylak and friends as they remove that shame and add laughter to normalize these feminized human experiences.
